Welcome to 6Care Connect. Please read these terms carefully as they govern the relationship between you (the "Client" or "Service Provider") and 6Care.

1. Introduction

Welcome to 6Care Connect ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at 6care.org (the "Site") and our services. By registering as a Client or Service Provider, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of the Platform

6Care is a digital marketplace that connects individuals seeking care services ("Clients") with independent healthcare professionals ("Service Providers").

Important Notice

We are not a healthcare provider. 6Care does not employ caregivers directly. Service Providers are independent contractors, and 6Care is not responsible for their medical judgment.

3. Accounts and Registration

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site.
  • Verification: Service Providers agree to undergo strict background checks. Falsifying credentials will result in immediate permanent ban and potential legal action.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

6. Review Content Policy

Transparency is vital to 6Care. While we encourage honest feedback, we strictly prohibit certain types of content to protect the privacy and dignity of our users. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate the following:

🚫 Prohibited Content

  • Hate Speech & Harassment: Abusive language, threats, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, etc.
  • Private Information: Revealing names of non-public individuals, exact home addresses, or medical details not relevant to the service.
  • Conflict of Interest: Reviews from family members, competitors, or users who did not actually receive a service.
  • Proven Falsehoods: Factual claims that can be proven objectively false (e.g., claiming a "No Show" when GPS logs prove attendance).

7. Review Dispute & Adjudication Policy

Service Providers may dispute a review if they believe it violates the Content Policy listed in Section 6.

7.1 When You Can Dispute

You may flag a review for removal ONLY if it contains prohibited content (e.g., hate speech, privacy leaks, or proven lies).

7.2 What We Will NOT Remove

We adhere to a strict "Presumption of Truth" regarding client experiences. We will not remove reviews because:

  • ❌ You disagree with the client's opinion (e.g., "They said I was slow, but I was thorough").
  • ❌ The rating is low (1-3 stars) but contains no policy violations.
  • ❌ It is a "he-said, she-said" situation with no objective proof.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including Kenyan consumer protection laws), 6Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
